Good morning. It is Monday, October 19, 2026. Here are three pieces of good news.
First, in Arvada, Colorado: On October 12, about 150 people in Arvada, Colorado, spent a day helping 14 local nonprofits. Together they gave more than 450 hours. Arvada Press reported it.
Next, in Bedford County: An animal shelter in Bedford County, Virginia, has been almost full for most of 2026, and more cats and kittens have been arriving. On October 19, the county said an anonymous donor will pay every adoption fee through the end of the year. The donor loves animals and hoped that taking the fee away would help more pets find homes. Dogs, cats, and the other animals at the shelter can be adopted without that cost until December. WSLS 10 News reported it.
And one more, in Fairhope, Alabama: John Joyce, a Coast Guard veteran in Fairhope, Alabama, needed a new roof. FOX10 reported it.
Kindness thought for the day: Use a kind voice in the hallway. The way you speak is something people carry with them.
That's today's good news from Tazzora.
