Good morning. It is Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Here are three pieces of good news.
First, in Adams, Nebraska: Students at Freeman Public Schools in Adams, Nebraska, did not have school on October 27, but they were asked to come in anyway. KLKN reported it.
Next, in Arcadia, Kansas: Special Olympics Kansas athletes spent October 27 at Orion Ranch Sanctuary in Arcadia for the sanctuary's second Boo Bash. They danced, ate lunch, played games, and spent time with horses. The sanctuary cares for nearly 50 horses that were rescued. Founder Meghan Holland said the horses notice people right away and accept them. KOAM reported it.
And one more, in Aurora, Colorado: Bonnie Kirlin worked at United Airlines, and that is how she started volunteering at Food Bank of the Rockies in Aurora, Colorado. She has been at it for more than eight years and has given more than 500 hours. Denver7 reported it.
Kindness thought for the day: Offer a pencil, a snack, or a turn. Sharing is a way to say you belong here.
That's today's good news from Tazzora.
