Boise firefighters rescued a person trapped in a pickup that had rolled onto its roof about 50 to 75 feet below a road near Bogus Basin, KTVB reported on Saturday. The Boise Fire Department said the truck could have slid farther downhill, so crews used a specialized system to hold it in place before they freed the person inside.

Firefighters then carried the patient uphill in a rescue basket and turned care over to Ada County Paramedics. Boise Fire was assisting Idaho State Police. The department did not say when the pickup left the road, what caused the rollover, or how the person was doing. The report does not give a name.
