Good news from Fifa, Jordan.

A tamarisk restoration project opened at Fifa Nature Reserve

Jordan's Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature and the Arab Potash Company launched the work on November 4 with a ceremonial planting. The reserve is a Ramsar wetland at the southern Dead Sea. Field surveys of the trees are part of the plan, not a finished count.
