Good morning. It is Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Here are three pieces of good news.
First, in Anlaby Park, Hull: BBC News reported on October 14, 2026, that Hull City Council gave Anlaby Park Community Library to its volunteers for 35 years. BBC News reported it.
Next, in Cincinnati, Ohio: An orphaned manatee calf named Hundo left the Cincinnati Zoo heavier and stronger than when he arrived. He came in at about 150 pounds and left weighing 546 pounds, headed for more care in Florida before a winter release. Three more orphaned calves then moved into the zoo's Manatee Springs: Tuglet, Smidge, and Zimomo. FOX19 (WXIX) reported it.
And one more, in Kekova Island, Antalya: The BBC reported on October 14, 2026, that archaeologists off Kekova Island in Turkey found what they believe is the oldest known shipwreck. The wooden ship is gone, but clay jars and stone anchors remain about 30 metres underwater. BBC reported it.
