Good morning. It is Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Here are three pieces of good news.
First, in Billings, Montana: Volunteers in Montana set a record on the Yellowstone River. On one September day, 165 people on shore and in 30 boats pulled 17,100 pounds of trash from the water. Billings Gazette reported it.
Next, in Paradise Fields, Greenford: BBC News reported on October 13, 2026, that two beaver kits were born this year at Paradise Fields in Greenford, west London. Eurasian beavers were released there in 2023, the first time they had lived in urban London in more than 400 years. BBC News reported it.
And one more, in Greater Blue Mountains: Five years after big bushfires in the Blue Mountains of Australia, scientists and volunteers used cameras to see which animals had come back. Native mammals such as quolls, possums, and echidnas are using both burnt and unburnt bush. NSW Local Land Services reported it.
Kindness thought for the day: When you win, cheer for the other side too. Good sportsmanship is its own good news.
That's today's good news from Tazzora.
