Young & Established volunteers kept the weekly Need to Feed giveaway going Wednesday afternoon on Evansville's east side, rain included. They handed out produce from local growers and meat donated by retailers including Walmart and Target. The distribution is open to anyone in need.
Executive director Courtney Johnson said the group stepped in because it saw a need, and that people should feel welcome. The giveaways happen every Wednesday afternoon at the Young & Established building on Vann Avenue.
