Seven first-year undergraduates at Hong Kong Baptist University have received the sixth round of AIA scholarships. The university reported the awards on November 2, 2026. The students entered in the 2025/26 year and were recognized for academic work and for community service. The AIA Foundation held the ceremony on October 6.

The recipients are Chan Wing-yin in social work, Cheng Siu-ting in public relations and advertising, Cheung Lok-ngai in finance, Fong Hon-lam in history, Leung Lok-pui in biochemical and testing sciences, Naina Manoj Ramchandani in arts, science, and technology, and Linus Wong in music. Professor Amy Lee, director of student affairs, and Winnie Li, from the scholarships office, attended with Chan Ka-lo, a graduate who received the award in an earlier round.

Each scholarship is HK$50,000 a year and can be renewed if the student keeps up the work. It also includes community service and leadership activities. The foundation, which launched the awards in 2020, has pledged US$100 million to support 100 undergraduates a year over the coming decades. In six years, 43 students at this university have received one. The report is these seven awards. It does not say how many students applied.
