The reporting lives at Daily Voice. Our summary is checked against it, and we link it on every story.

Early Monday morning, November 2, Woodbury firefighters answered a report of a vehicle over an embankment on westbound Route 6, the Daily Voice reported. They found a Nissan Murano on its roof about 50 feet below the roadway. The SUV had gone through a guardrail before it tumbled down the slope.

One person was still inside. Crews worked the person free, then had to get them back up the bank. The department said it used a 3-to-1 rope system and brought the person to the top, where EMS crews were waiting. The cause of the crash was not available.
